Quentin Lee
Quentin Lee is a 2024 Canadian Screen Awards nominee, winner of the 2020 Roddenberry Foundation Impact Awards for TV creators, a member of the Producers Guild of America, Canadian Media Producers Association and Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He is also a multimedia creator and has directed and produced over ten feature films and created over three TV series.

Shakti Bhagchandani
Shakti Bhagchandani is a filmmaker from the UAE. She completed her MFA in Screenwriting and Directing at Columbia University, where she began her career with a narrative short film titled Lostfound, which was showcased at the Sundance Film Festival, making her the first filmmaker from the UAE to be selected for the festival. She directed Kingdom Come, which played at the Venice International Film Festival and Stockholm Film Festival (where it won the International Jury Award) and was nominated for a London Critics’ Circle Award.

Andrea Weiss
Andrea Weiss is an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker and founder, with Greta Schiller, of Jezebel Productions. Her film credits include Escape to Life: The Erika and Klaus Mann Story, Seed of Sarah, Paris Was a Woman, Before Stonewall, A Bit of Scarlet, and International Sweethearts of Rhythm, among others. She holds a Ph.D. in U.S. History and is Professor of Film at the City College of New York, where she co-directs the MFA Program in Film.

Joan Stein Schimke’s
Joan Stein Schimke’s award-winning short films, including One Day Crossing (Academy Award Nominee, Student Academy Award Gold Medal), Solidarity, and Saeed, have screened at over 150 festivals worldwide. Joan directed Law & Order, and was the Director of the Student Shorts Program at the Hamptons International Film Festival. Joan’s feature-length script was accepted to the Sundance Screenwriting Lab. A graduate of Columbia University’s MFA Film Program, Joan is a Professor of Film and Video Production at Adelphi University.

Jay Rosenblatt
Jay Rosenblatt is an internationally recognized artist who has been working as an independent filmmaker since 1980 and has completed over thirty films. He is a two-time Academy Award® Nominated experimental documentary director. His films have received over 100 awards and have screened throughout the world. A selection of his films had theatrical runs at the Film Forum in New York and at theaters around the country.

Gaspar González has produced and directed documentary programming for PBS, the BBC, ESPN, TV One, and others. His credits include Muhammad Ali: Made in Miami; the Grantland short doc Gay Talese’s Address Book; Havana House, His work has been recognized by the National Endowment for the Humanities, the New York Festivals TV & Film Awards, the Telly Awards, and AFI Docs.
